PRP Facial Treatment in Atlanta, GA

At Abraza Skin Studio, We Offer a Revolutionary PRP Micro-Needling Treatment, Also Known As The PRP Facial.

If You Are Looking for a Non-Surgical Treatment That Can Erase the Years from Your Face & Result in Younger, Healthier Looking Skin, The PRP Facial Can Be the Best Option for You.

What is PRP?

Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) is an autologous treatment, which means it is derived from the patient’s own body, that consists of high levels of platelets that help regenerate and repair damaged tissues and cellular structures. When used for aesthetic purposes, PRP can help increase collagen and improve the overall quality and health of the skin.

What is a PRP Facial?

It’s a unique skin rejuvenation treatment that combines microneedling with PRP therapy, for patients who are interested in reducing the visible signs of age and improving the overall quality of their skin. This treatment works to improve the quality of your skin at a cellular level for a radiant, younger-looking complexion.

Conditions that a PRP Facial can be used to treat include:

Dark Under Eye Circles

Fine Lines

Sun Damage

Acne Scars

Uneven Skin Tone & Texture

Crow’s Feet

“Crepey Skin” in the Eye, Neck, & Decollete

What can I expect during a treatment session?

PRP Facial treatment sessions can last anywhere between 30 minutes to one hour. First, we will draw a small amount of the patient’s blood and place it in a centrifuge to separate the plasma and create PRP. The PRP is then applied to the face and treated with microneedling, which allows the PRP to deeply penetrate the skin and maximized the effects of both treatments. There is little to no downtime associated with this minimally-invasive treatment and most of our patients are able to resume their normal routines immediately following a treatment session.

When will I see results?

You may begin to see an improvement in the tone of your skin within a few days of your PRP Facial. The most visible results of this skin rejuvenation treatment usually develop within two to three months of your treatment session and can last for up to two years. Multiple treatment sessions may be required in order to achieve your desired aesthetic goals. Results may vary.

Am I a candidate?

PRP therapy is an autologous treatment, which means it should be safe and effective for most patients. We do not recommend this skin rejuvenation treatment for men and women who suffer from anemia, blood or bone cancers, and/or other blood-related conditions. Prior to your PRP Facial, we will review your skin type, skin concerns, and general health and determine if this is the right aesthetic treatment for you.
